Noticing

This is a piece I wrote which is about being present—the place from where all things are created...in each moment, each breath, each heartbeat.
I am so appreciative for my life and for noticing...
Noticing this quiet calm as the sun is rising—again
Noticing how I react to others and situations
How I spend my time
What I say and do
Lessons learned
Noticing how I take care of my body
If my heart is fluttering too fast or if my ears are ringing...or not
Noticing the taste of the coffee I made this morning
The birds outside who are screeching very loud right now
My soft robe on my skin
Noticing pain in my body, and the parts I don’t even feel because
they’re so relaxed
Noticing how I feel guilty in safety, while others suffer
Noticing I don’t want to sound like a princess, because I’m not
Noticing people want freedom to choose what feels right to them
And that people live in their own realities
Their own experiences
Noticing how important good manners and kindness matter to me
Noticing people hurt others for no logical reason
And other times people hurt themselves
Noticing people who want peace, safety, sleep, clean water
Noticing people trapped in a war zone of sorts and how it makes my
stomach turn
Noticing days when I’m grateful, and others when not so much
This is quite the conscious human experience
Soul tucked in my miraculous human body
Thank You Universe, Love, God, Life Energy—whatever feels right to say
Thank You Mother Earth and Father Sun
Also, Thank You to all the people who made and make all of this
possible with your hands, your hearts, your minds, your being
Because without you
I wouldn’t be able to see myself
Noticing
Tell me...what are you noticing?
