frequently asked questions
Q. CAN YOU HELP ME TO STOP SMOKING? SHED WEIGHT? DRINK LESS? BE MORE POSITIVE WITH MY THINKING?
A. If you are genuinely ready to wholeheartedly take better care of yourself...I can effectively help you. I am always delighted to watch my clients unearth their innate strength & compassion ... and feel so much better about themselves.
Q. HOW DO YOU DIFFER FROM A PSYCHOLOGIST?
A. Like a psychologist, I will ask a few questions regarding one's history, to understand the client's values & beliefs. However, as a coach the focus is to understand strengths, barriers and create realistic steps & practices to achieve outcomes. I use hypnotherapy to insert subconscious seeds that supplement the process. My clients leave each session with new steps, tools and perspective that support their whole well-being.
Q. DO I NEED A LIFE COACH OR A THERAPIST?
A. If you're struggling and feel like you can't function, please let a therapist help you. If you're feeling ok overall but know you want to do better and want the tools & support to move you forward, a life coach could be a better choice.
Q. HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
A. You will feel so much better after your initial 1.5-hour session. The amount of sessions depends entirely on you. I strongly recommend a minimum of 3 sessions. Most clients stop after three sessions, others continue with weekly support sessions, while others benefit from the support of monthly check-ins. Every client moves at their own pace.
Q. WILL I LOSE CONTROL IF YOU PUT ME IN HYPNOSIS?
A. Firstly...while hypnosis is suggested- it is optional. In hypnosis, you simply put your inner critic aside and deeply relax. clients are guided into a deeply relaxed state using imagery, metaphors and suggestions. Clients are delighted how good they feel afterward and forward.
Q. HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
Q. CAN I DO THE LIFE COACHING WITHOUT THE HYPNOTHERAPY?
A. Our work together is always a collaboration. I am here to guide & empower you in the best way possible. Life coaching is an excellent modality to help anyone achieve desired outcomes. I use hypnotherapy as a supplement to activate & align the subconscious mind to support new beliefs and habits. You are in control. If you decide not to use hypnotherapy, I will not use it.
guiding principles
*
People are naturally whole and good born with innate resources & potential.
Everyone experiences their own unique peaks and valleys on their life journey.
Everyone (and Life itself) is an ever-changing creative process.
Sustainable well-being is supported by self-awareness, self-compassion, self-love, self-responsibility, community, connection, and a clear vision of what one wants to feel, wants more of, and/or, wants instead.
With practice, anyone can cultivate skills and habits that support personal, natural and whole well-being.
There is always help...no one is ever alone.
Every single human on this earth presents an opportunity for us to see ourselves more clearly - in how we show up, what our strengths are, and what we still have to learn.

Principles assume that basic needs are met & that the person is in a safe place.
