People do what people do Cut down trees because there’s too much debris Hang plants in plastic pots on black metal hooks Get dressed for work, or school, or bed Walk their dogs around the block or leash their cat   People also Grow gardens, eat food, bathe Hoard toilet paper, goods, and boxes Go to church, synagogue, a mosque, or the woods Drive cars that get them to places—or ride bikes   And they Share stories of their grandmother’s recipes Blow out birthday candles Smile w
