Meal Prayer

This is the meal prayer I wrote and share with my family and friends before each dinner.

I'm sharing because I've had such a beautiful response from everyone and it is truly from my heart.

To my body, to the Earth, to the Powers that be

Thank You, for all you've given me...and us

Including compassion, love, and the sun's warming rays

That give us Life...each and every day

I'm thankful for...

This meal, our home, our health,

Our safety, our security

Friends, family

Pets, parents

Mother Earth

Father Sun

All the people who contributed to make all of this possible

And, a special prayer for the poor, sick and suffering

That they may heal.
